A jukebox will guarantee a great party!  The great thing about a jukebox is it has your choice of music and it is simple.  Dial A Jukebox delivers and sets up the jukebox and we demonstrate how to use it.  It arrives with your choice of music and all our jukeboxes are very simple to use.

There are many types of jukeboxes in the marketplace and they are not all what you expect them to be.  Dial A Jukebox has been specializing in “Jukebox Party Hire” since 1987.  We have had a range of different machines during this time including record jukeboxes – that’s how far we go back!  We remember offering choice of records for each jukebox and what a job that was, as our record library was huge with every title and song listed. 

After records came compact discs.  More music and better sound - the experts claimed.  We agree.  A CD jukebox can now give us 2,000 songs as compared to 200 songs from record jukeboxes, and with technology improvements the sound has got better and better over the years.  The great thing about compact disc jukeboxes they work exactly the same way as the record ones – a jukebox number for every song.  Pick the song, enter the number and the song plays.  Our CD jukeboxes, like the record ones, have a memory of 100 songs so many songs can be selected and they play one after the other.  With the CD jukeboxes we still offer you choice of music, but now you choose from a huge CD library.  We are one of the few companies who offers choice of music.

Now, after Compact Discs, we have Digital jukeboxes.  New technology, new jukeboxes.  The great thing about digital jukeboxes is the amount of music they can hold. See below for more information.

Over the years we have seen different brands and different models of jukeboxes, and we have seen companies come and go, both the "backyarders" and the legitimate ones.  Our experience in party hire has shown that you need a reliable jukebox, a reliable jukebox hire company, good sound and appropriate music for your party - and a jukebox that is simple to use.  We have fine-tuned our jukebox fleet so we have exactly this.  We only hire the quality brands – AMI/Rowe, Pioneer and Wurlitzer - and they are all genuine authentic jukeboxes.  We have nothing that is ‘home-made’. And, we are an experienced and reliable jukebox hire company.

We are now seeing even newer jukebox technology – digital.  Dial A Jukebox has looked long and hard at the digital systems being offered in our industry and after much research we have just released our new Touchscreen Digital Jukeboxes.  After trialling one digital touchscreen jukebox last year we now have several. Our digital jukeboxes are also full size authentic jukeboxes with all the same features as our proven CD jukeboxes.  Unfortunately there are many home-made cabinets with a computer screen and they’re being called a jukebox?!  All our digital music is licensed with SBA Music and we are using Jukesoft software.  With digital music, copyright laws must be adhered to.  It is illegal to download music from the internet and hire it out as jukebox, so you need to be very careful selecting your Jukebox Hire company.

Digital music has some advantages over compact disc, but compact disc has some advantages over digital.  We can offer you choice of music with CD but not with digital.  Everytime we purchase a CD we pay a copyright royalty and as a jukebox operator we are also required to pay performing royalties in public places, which we do at Dial A Jukebox.  When we purchase digital tracks we pay per track but as yet we are unable to offer that choice to our customers.  We have however hand-picked each digital track on our jukeboxes so each one has a huge selection of music from the 60’s through to current Top 40 and we update each jukebox monthly with current music.  Every song on the jukebox is listed in ‘categories’ as well as in alphabetical order of ‘artist’ and ‘song title’.  You simply touch the screen to make a selection!
